I want adventure in the great, wide somewhere...

As I contemplate embarking upon this journey I am headed toward I cannot contain my excitement, nor can I put into words my trepidation. But, as the following line states, "I want it more than I can stand!" Throughout my life I have always said that I would end up living in Ireland for a period of my life, and that dream is coming true, it is all so surreal.

This is a year that I decided early on that would be characterized by risk. I am embracing freedom from my fears of money and loneliness in order to seek something soul-filling: studying books at Trinity College Dublin. Shauna Niequist, an author I have come to adore, wrote a chapter in her book, Bittersweet, titled, "Twenty Five" and it encourages those of us that are twenty-five-ish to take risks; to try new things; to find out who we are. Shauna, I am doing it.

When I start to think about and work through the details it feels like a feat that I could not possibly accomplish, but it has been amazing to see the grace surrounding me and the way in which things continue to fall into place in spite of me. All this to say, I am going to Dublin. I will be living in Dublin for a year and I plan to truly experience what God has for me there. I will be present in every moment, and, if you would like to, you can come along with me on this adventure by tuning in here!!

Here is a little taste of the hallowed halls that I will be roaming...
